First and foremost, thank you for the comments! What a nice surprise to sign in and see a couple of comments. Someone is reading my blog! Woo HOO!
I've basically been a lazy bum since the kids got out of school. We've been swimming at my mom's house (Lucky duck is in San Diego!) and camp starts next week.
I'm feeling a bit down about my Etsy business. Love making jewelry, but LOATHE taking the photos and doing the listing. Anyone want to do that for me??? :)
Last night I watched the MTV Movie Awards and *hoped* for the usual train wreck of events. I think we all got a little more than we bargained for with the whole Eminem ordeal. Ugh. I think that winged idiot was WAY OUT OF LINE!!
On a brighter note... YAY TWILIGHT!! I cannot wait for New Moon in November. Holy HOT Rob Pattinson (did I spell that right??), what a cutie. The trailer for the movie was awesome and I can't wait to see the movie when it comes out.
There's my cue, "Mommmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmy" from the other room.
Smile at a stranger today.

Tomorrow is a BIG day...
Why is tomorrow a big day, well let me tell you!!! Tomorrow is the kindergarten field trip to THE ZOO!!!!
Christian has been asking every single day, "Is my field trip today?" for weeks. Finally, tomorrow I'll be able to say, "YES!! Now stop asking!!". :)
Hopefully the weather will be great and I know we'll have such a great time. I hope to get lots of pictures, so be ready for a follow up blog with more detail.
Also, tomorrow is field day for my girls and I'll catch the tail end of that when we get back to school from The Zoo. Unless of course, the zoo keepers try to keep Christian at the Monkey Exhibit. :)
Photos to follow in a few days. Woo hoo!

Bzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz!!!
Okay... SO!
I picked my kids up from school this afternoon and on the way home we decided to drive by the iguanas. Iguanas you ask? Let me tell you.
There is this rock wall near our home where we ALWAYS see iguanas. They sit on the top of the rocks and sun themselves. We sometimes drive by in the morning on the way to school and sometimes after school. It's always a contest who can spot them first or who spots the most. Our record was 12 in one day!
After our drive by this afternoon, we had all the windows down in the car enjoying the nice 80 degree temperature and WHAM... BZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ. Eeks. A bee flew in the car.
Needless to say, no one really enjoys bees being in their car, but one of my little girls (Madde) is super afraid of bees. We ALL freak out, and start screaming. Meanwhile, Mr. Bee is buzzing around making the inside of the car his new home. I'm surprised I didn't crash the car into the sidewalk!!
After about 2 minutes of the windows down all the way and the A/C blowing full blast, the bee cruises right out my window. Of course he has to land on my shirt first and freak me out even more.
All's well that ends well. That was my adventure for the day. :)

I'm a lucky girl....
This year's birthday was one of my best birthdays ever. I am so lucky to have such a great family who makes me feel so special. My kids made me the CUTEST cards (homemade of course). I was spoiled rotten with gifts from my husband, mom and sister.
You know those things that you never buy for yourself because you always feel guilty? Those are all the things I got this year. Donna Karan perfume (why is it women always feel bad buying themselves such luxury items?), chocolate, make up, smelly good soaps, lotions, etc.
The best part of my birthday, though, was seeing all my babies with their cousins and feeling super loved by my family.

Yay! My new blog...
Okay, here goes. I'm new to this blogging world, but wanted to give it a try. I have to be one of those "moms" right off the bat and start with a photo of my kids from Halloween.
I'm the luckiest momma in the whole world. I have 3 amazing kids who are wonderful. (Not all the time, but MOST of the time..bwahah) Since today is my birthday, this blog is my birthday present to myself. My goal is to be more up to date on photos of the kids and keep a better diary of what they do day to day.
Stay tuned for more.... :)
